Honoring a Legacy of Love, Laughter, and Family: The Spirit of Ricky DZ Lives On
In Loving Memory of Ricky Kilgore
“Ricky DZ”
March 26, 1984 – October 4, 2014
behind the name
This restaurant was built on love, laughter, and legacy — and it’s only right that we honor the man who embodied all three: Ricky “Ricky DZ” Kilgore.
Ricky had a gift. He made you feel like family from the moment you met him. Whether he was casting a line, cracking a joke, or showing up for the people he loved — he lived fully, generously, and without holding back.
Pittsburgh proud, Ricky’s greatest joy was being Carmen’s dad and the fun-loving uncle everyone adored. His laugh? Unforgettable. His heart? Unmistakable.
We’ve created this space in his spirit — a place where good food brings people together, stories are shared freely, and nobody’s a stranger.
So take a seat. Raise a glass. And if you laugh a little too loud — even better.
Because that’s exactly how Ricky would’ve wanted it.
